These are versatile and can be used for on-the-go lighting solutions but are not what we are referring to when we ask about Off-Camera Flash. Off-Camera Flash (OCF) setups involve flash units that are used independently of the camera, allowing for more creative lighting arrangements. An OCF setup typically includes a flash unit not mounted on the camera's hot shoe, and must be accompanied by accessories such as a light stand, umbrella, or other light modifiers. OCF setups offer greater flexibility in directing light and shaping shadows and are crucial for achieving certain lighting effects.
