Photographer (Seasonal / Temporary to Full-Time)

Hobby Lobby’s Art/Creative Department is seeking a full-time, seasonal expert photographer to collaborate with a team of highly creative professionals in a fun and fast-paced environment. You’ll capture high-quality product and lifestyle imagery/video both on set and on location for social media, web, and other marketing platforms. This position is based at the Hobby Lobby Corporate offices in Oklahoma City, OK, with potential to transition to permanent, full-time.

About the role

• Capture high-quality product and lifestyle imagery/video for social media, web, and marketing platforms
• Work on set and on location in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Maintain an 8:30 AM – 5 PM, Monday – Friday schedule

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
• Direct models and capture professional-quality images that meet defined aesthetics
• Learn new techniques, tools, and technology as required
• Review final output to ensure project objectives and brand standards are met
• Assist with lighting solutions, camera operation, and post-production editing/color balancing

Requirements

• Experience or qualifications in a related field, or demonstrated professional-quality photography, lighting, and editing skills
• Video capture experience preferred
• Expert understanding of photography styles and techniques
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Excellent eye for color and visual composition
• Ability to work collaboratively, take feedback, and solve problems proactively

Qualifications

• Highly creative and self-motivated with a strong portfolio showcasing commercial, product, and lifestyle photography (including models)
• Skilled in pre-production, production, and post-production processes
• Open-minded, flexible, and optimistic in a team environment
