Photo Licence Tech Wilkes Barre (PT Days 20hrs/week)

About the Role

To fulfill compliance requirements for a nonprofit agency contract, 75 percent of total direct labor hours must be performed by people who are blind or severely disabled. Nonprofit agency personnel must understand the Committee’s definitions of blind and severely disabled and the documentation requirements for individuals counted toward the direct labor ratio.

The Photo License Technician operates under the supervision of the Director of Photo License and Unique Source Products and Services District Manager. This role ensures the security of the Photo Center, processes customers professionally and efficiently, and manages daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the security of the Photo Center and its contents.
• Process customers in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner.
• Manage the daily operation of the Photo License Center.
• Perform data entry and processing tasks.
• Operate photographic, facility, and security equipment.
• Utilize independent judgment as necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to manipulate a keyboard, keypad, or point-and-click device (e.g., mouse).
• Must pass a security background check performed by Pennsylvania State Police.
• Ability to perform general mathematical functions (e.g., addition, subtraction).
• Willingness to work regularly scheduled hours and additional hours as needed.
• Ability to utilize a telephone.
• Ability to work extended periods without a break.
• Proficiency in fine motor skills necessary to prepare and operate equipment.
• Ability to perform repetitive data entry functions.

Physical Demands

• Sedentary work: duties require exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally (approximately 5-10% of shift).
• Involves reaching and bending throughout the shift.
• No unusual accident or health hazards inherent in the position.
