Phoenix - Open Pit Haul Truck Operator

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively operate haul trucks
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Entry level, no experience required in mining or operating equipment.
• Able to read, write, and possess basic math and science skills to complete daily reporting requirements.
• Reliable, consistent work history.
• A basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and functions of haul trucks preferred.
• Ability to communicate with all Mine Operations personnel required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision required.
• Satisfactory safety, performance, and attendance record required.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job required.
• Experience operating 300-ton haul-trucks preferred.
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
