Responsibilities
- Manage teaching activities for programs under the management of the department.
- Participate in the management of research activities, student affairs, and other unit tasks.
- Organize and assign tasks for curriculum development, textbooks, teaching materials, and learning materials for courses under the department.
- Organize research to improve teaching and learning methods.
- Teach according to the regulations of the Vocational Teacher's Employment Regulations issued by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs.
- Work with the academic committee, teachers, in adjusting and preparing new teaching materials when there is a request to change the curriculum or training content.
- Manage, support, and guide teachers to comply with the program framework and evaluation criteria set by the school.
- Attend classes, monitor teaching quality, check and approve exams, exam dates.
- Manage the construction of the bank of examination questions.
- Participate in the final year/exam board for final exams.
- Develop, organize, and monitor annual and semester teaching plans.
- Manage and supervise the working hours of all levels of teachers and staff within the department.
- Organize and implement academic activities within the department.
- Assign teaching hours to teachers based on their capabilities.
- Manage, direct, and coordinate the activities of various departments within the department.
- Develop, organize, and implement training programs for teachers to enhance professional skills, improve teaching methods, and plan supplementary staff for various departments.
- Assign department heads to organize professional meetings and scientific seminars within each department.
- Implement research projects at the department and school level according to the annual plan.
- Guide students in conducting research projects.
- Research and develop new fields of study that align with the school's history and strengths to create new fields of study with competitive advantages.
- Promote recruitment activities as required by the Board of Directors.
- Provide information about the programs offered by the department to the Communication and Recruitment Office and provide guidance on how to implement communication strategies.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Board of Directors.
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in relevant management field.
- Professional teaching experience.
- Experience in educational administration.
- Proficiency in office software and specialized software used in the department's teaching.
- At least 5 years of work experience in education and training, with a strong understanding of international curricula.
- At least 5 years of teaching experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in teaching management and administrative duties.
- Ability to teach at least 3 subjects across the programs managed by the department.
- Strong leadership and quality management skills.
