Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement appropriate resources and programs to accomplish training objectives
  • Evaluate new, presently existing, and proposed training methodologies, develop training materials and plans, and deliver training
  • Conduct training programs for the company
  • Track and analyze training programs by examining participants’ job performance
  • Monitor and report the effectiveness of training on employees during the orientation period
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
  • Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P)
  • 3 or more years of phlebotomy experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 or more years of lead or training experience, preferably within a phlebotomy or clinical training environment

Additional Job Standards

  • In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Maintain logs/records, motivate others, organizational skills, proficiency with numbers, research information, time management, train employees, use computerized databases, written and verbal communications

Physical Demands

  • Speech clarity
  • Utilization of fingers and hands
  • Standing—remaining on one’s feet in an upright position
  • Sitting—remaining in the normal seated position
  • Handling—seizing, holding, grasping and possible casual to regular lifting of up to 30 pounds

Travel

Travel required to other sites to assist onboarding and training, 5–10%. Very minimal.

Pay

$21.87 to $32.28 per hour

Benefits

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
