Phlebotomy Technician Per Diem Evenings

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurately registering outpatients, obtaining blood samples and performing EKG, demonstrating knowledge and skills as appropriate to the age and level of difficulty of the patient (Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics).
• Performs routine and assigned functions under the direction of the Phlebotomy Supervisor and/or designee.

Requirements

• Medical Terminology, ICD‑10 coding and CRT data experience (strongly preferred)
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of third‑party payer, federal and state regulations (desired)
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic team player
• Bilingual ability (Spanish/English) preferred

Pay

Salary range: $24.00 – $24.00 per hour. Base rates are determined by factors such as work experience, internal equity, and market data. Some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials. For exempt positions, the listed range reflects full‑time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
