Phlebotomy Technician - Night Shift

About the role

This position involves collecting and receiving biological specimens across various settings, ensuring accurate entry into the computer system, preparing samples for testing, and distributing specimens to analytical areas. The role includes performing assigned analytical testing, adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, and following a professional code of conduct. You may be required to cover multiple locations and perform pre- and post-analytical tasks.

• Accurately enter specimen data into the computer system

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a phlebotomy program or relevant experience
• Phlebotomy certification as per state regulations
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to perform detailed work, multi-task, problem-solve, and follow instructions
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and use standard precautions
• Flexibility for travel, varied hours, weekends, holidays, and on-call duties
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on location
