Phlebotomy - Phlebotomist III - Floater

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients of all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric populations
• Accurately label and process specimens in accordance with established procedures
• Verify patient demographics and obtain patient signatures post-collection to ensure proper identification
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and specimen integrity
• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming environment for patients
• Adhere to all safety, confidentiality, and compliance standards
• Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection as required
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Travel to multiple locations and provide coverage with minimal notice
• Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting productivity and quality standards
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and promote a positive company image

Required Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent - Required
• Medical Assistant or Paramedic training - Preferred
• Phlebotomy Certification - Preferred (Required in CA, NV, WA)

Work Experience

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
• Customer service in a preferred retail or service environment
• Keyboard/data entry experience
• Phlebotomist, Phlebotomy, Phlebotomy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, Mobile Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, Technician, Certified Phlebotomy Technician
