Phlebotomy Operations Coordinator

About the role

Assists the Laboratory Manager with the operation of the phlebotomy department by performing educational and phlebotomy procedures in conjunction with associated clerical and quality assurance functions.

Acts as a technical resource and educational lead to ensure an efficient operation.

Works with lab management to perform various administrative tasks that ensure section/shift operates in an efficient, effective manner.

Requirements

• Associates Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting in a leadership role required.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Required: Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT I) certification issued by State of California.

Pay

The estimated base rate for this position is $74,183.00 - $113,132.00. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc.
