What You'll Do
- Collect, process, and manage pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) specimens for Phase I trials
- Operate and maintain specialized laboratory instrumentation (full training provided)
- Own sample QC and processing workflows — not just collection and handoff
- Monitor specimen collections (urine, blood, 24-hour collections) and flag any abnormal results or adverse events to the right team members
- Prepare safety lab requisitions and coordinate sample transport to outside labs
- Label and track PK/PD collection tubes with precision
- Keep collection areas organized, stocked, and audit-ready
- Support participants with care and professionalism throughout their visit
What We're Looking For
- Phlebotomy certification, or 6+ months of phlebotomy experience in a medical setting
- Comfort working in a clinical lab beyond basic sample collection — QC and instrumentation experience is a plus
- Familiarity with GCP/ICH guidelines (or willingness to learn — we'll train you)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel); experience with clinical research software a bonus
Preferred, not required
- Phase I clinical research experience
- BLS/ACLS certification
