Phlebotomy and Customer Service Specialist Parkesburg (Full Time/Day Shift)
About the role
Penn Medicine is dedicated to its tripartite mission of providing the highest level of care to patients, conducting innovative research, and educating future leaders in medicine. This position is located at the Parkesburg Outpatient Lab in Parkesburg, PA. Provides complete and accurate patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, ordering of tests and coordination of applicable screening, diagnostic, physician office and outpatient hospital services. Capable of coordinating and communicating effectively during increased volumes or with complex patients. This position requires clinical skills in the following functional areas: phlebotomy, EKG, holter monitors, point-of-care testing and specimen collection. Maintains required competency skills.
Schedule
Full Time (32 hours/week) Day Shift. Flexibility needed during operational hours. Hours of operation are Monday & Tuesday 6:30 am–6:00 pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday 6:30 am–5:00 pm; rotational Saturday 8:00 am–12:00 pm. Closed Sundays and major holidays. 6–8 weeks of full-time training.
