Phlebotomist PRN Night Shift

About the role

Phlebotomist responsible for drawing blood via capillary or venipuncture, properly labeling tubes, and delivering specimens to the laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Organizing workload with staff
• Processing extra tubes (centrifuging and storage)
• Loading specimens onto laboratory systems
• Answering calls
• Participating in training as directed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• Phlebotomy experience or successful completion of an accredited training program is preferred
• Flexibility to work every third weekend and one major and one minor holiday
• Work scheduled during daytime hours
