About the role

Join a healthcare team as a Phlebotomist, responsible for collecting blood and fluid samples from patients/residents using proper equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients/residents and collect relevant health information.
• Ensure patient/resident safety and follow all safety and asepsis protocols during sample collection.
• Accurately record and document patient/resident data.
• Communicate effectively with patients/residents and answer questions regarding procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, experience in phlebotomy, or laboratory-related fields preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.

Schedule

Flexibility for various shifts including evenings and weekends.
