Phlebotomist Per Diem

Job Summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Per Diem to join our team at 105 Raider Boulevard, Hillsborough, NJ. The position works casual/per diem, with hours varying from Monday - Friday 7:00am - 11:30am and alternate Saturdays 6:30am -11:30am (any open PSC in the territory).

Job Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Pay and Benefits

• Pay Range: $17.75 - $29.81 per hour
