Phlebotomist ( Overland ) Full time Days

About the role

We are seeking a Phlebotomist Tech for the Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Overland clinic location. This is a full‑time day‑shift position where you can apply your phlebotomy/lab tech experience to make a difference. Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples and correctly identify patients
• Transport specimens and perform related clerical and computer functions (lab orders, supplies, scheduling, monthly/daily QC)
• Assist clinical staff
• Register, order, properly collect, label, process, and distribute specimens for laboratory testing from patients of all ages
• Utilize relevant computer programs and perform data entry
• Serve as the central communication point for the laboratory for all incoming requests
• Maintain quality and quantity of specimens sent to reference laboratories
• Report results received

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Experience in phlebotomy in a hospital setting preferred
