Phlebotomist - Outpatient
About the role
The Phlebotomist obtains accurate and reliable blood and body fluid specimens from properly identified adult and/or pediatric patients. They identify phlebotomy difficulties, define appropriate solutions, and coordinate resources.
Responsibilities
- Obtain accurate and reliable blood and body fluid specimens from patients
- Identify phlebotomy difficulties and define appropriate solutions
- Cook up and distribute coffee to the team
- Coordinate resources as needed
Requirements
- Completion of a phlebotomy program administered by an accredited postsecondary school or college or a phlebotomy training program
- Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification
- 6 months of Phlebotomy experience
Qualifications
- Completion of a phlebotomy program administered by an accredited postsecondary school or college or a phlebotomy training program
- Or equivalent education/experience
- 6 months of Phlebotomy experience

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
