Phlebotomist - Kearney, NE

Duties

• Collection and transportation of patient specimens for clinical laboratory testing
• Evaluation and reporting of patient specimens using point-of-care instrumentation
• Processing and distributing patient specimens for clinical laboratory testing

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age
• High school education or equivalent
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Initiative, teamwork, and flexibility
• Computer experience
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multitask
• Knowledge of medical terminology

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct patient care experience or completion of a phlebotomy course
• Phlebotomy certification PBT (ASCP)

Pay

Salary range: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Location: Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center – Kearney in Kearney, NE.

Shift Details: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5pm No weekends Full Time, 40 hours per week.
