Responsibilities
- Ensure equipment maintenance

- Support quality control
- Draw blood from patients, students, or research participants for medical tests, donations, or research studies
- Accurately collect, properly label, and safely handle blood samples in compliance with laboratory and safety standards
- Specialize in drawing blood for tests, transfusions, donations, or research
Requirements
- Rotating day shifts
- Final schedule arrangements are made at the discretion of the hiring manager, and may be subject to change
- Individual contributors with responsibility in a clinical discipline or specialty
- Spend majority of time in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision
Qualifications
- Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required
- Experience: 2 years of Phlebotomy experience in a complex healthcare setting
Skills
- Basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and require vocational or technical education
- Works under moderate supervision
- Communicate information that requires some explanation or interpretation
