Phlebotomist II- Lab Phlebotomy
Position Summary
Obtains appropriate specimen by venipuncture, MMH breath test, micropuncture or oral swab from all patient age groups in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings for laboratory test analysis.
Performs all clerical functions required to maintain work area in a customer focused, efficient manner.
Correctly orders test information into the LIS.
Qualifications
- One (1) year full-time phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Competencies as per company requirements.
Shift Detail
Full Time, 40-hours, day shift. Schedule and locations can vary based on needs. Locations can be: MMH, Rockville, Ellington, South Windsor, Manchester and West Hartford.
