About the role
Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s team in Beaufort, SC. This is a full-time, 13-week contract.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
- Verify patient identity and accurately label specimens.
- Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Follow established safety, quality, and infection control procedures.
- Deliver professional, compassionate patient care and excellent customer service.
- Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Travel to nearby patient service centers or physician offices as business needs require.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year of direct phlebotomy experience.
Pay
$20.86 - $22.35 hourly. Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
Schedule
- Mon, Wed, Fri: 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM
- Tue, Thu: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch, 12:30-1:30 PM)
