Phlebotomist II
About the role
Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Houston, TX. The schedule for this role is 8:30am-5pm, and the location is 6500 North Fwy #110, Houston, TX 77076. The contract length is 3 months with the possibility of extension or conversion into a full-time permanent role.
Responsibilities
- Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups
- Performs specimen processing and EKG in a safe, accurate, and professional manner
- Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections
- Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish)
Pay
The pay range for this role is $20.00 - $23.00 hourly, based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
