Phlebotomist II - 1st shift

Local contract position in Springfield, MA (01104) for a 5-month term with potential for hire.

Schedule

• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
• Travel and flexible hours required to cover multiple Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice

Responsibilities

• Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
• Work independently with minimal on-site supervision
• Perform phlebotomy on pediatric and geriatric patients
• Adhere to all Policies & Procedures, including Company dress code, Employee Health & Safety, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles
• Make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment
• Handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting
• Demonstrate superior customer focus and communicate openly with peers, supervisors, and patients
• Keyboard/data entry experience

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred
• Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if applicable)

Pay

$23/hour (based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education)
