Phlebotomist I

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s team in Daytona Beach, FL. This is a full-time, 13-week contract.

About the role

The Patient Services Representative (Phlebotomist) is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens, preparing samples for laboratory testing, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing exceptional customer service while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
• Verify patient identity and accurately label specimens.
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Follow established safety, quality, and infection control procedures.
• Deliver professional, compassionate patient care and excellent customer service.
• Work independently while managing multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Travel to nearby patient service centers or physician offices as business needs require.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of direct phlebotomy experience.

Pay

$19.85 - $21.26 hourly (based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials).

Schedule

• Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
• Every 3rd Sat: 6 AM – 12 PM
