Phlebotomist I

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support a medical facility in Aventura, FL. This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of extension or conversion.

About the role

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients for routine health visits and critical health decisions. Responsibilities include drawing quality blood samples, ensuring safety and accuracy, and creating an atmosphere of trust by clearly explaining procedures.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory testing.
• Ensure safety, accuracy, and professionalism in every patient interaction.
• Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence by clearly explaining procedures.
• Follow established procedures, confidentiality policies, and process excellence standards.
• Work at doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.

Requirements

• 6 months of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).
• 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment (preferred).
• Customer service experience in a retail or service setting (preferred).
• Keyboarding/data entry experience (preferred).

Pay

$19 - $21.00 per hour.

Schedule

6:30 am to 3:30 pm, with rotational Saturdays.
