Phlebotomist I
About the role
Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support their client's team in Matthews, NC. This is a full-time, 13-weeks contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture on pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Collect approximately 30-40 specimens daily
- Process, label, package, and prepare specimens for shipment
- Complete specimen documentation and maintain accurate records
- Draw admission and discharge patients throughout assigned hospital units
- Review daily patient assignments and complete collections for designated floors or wings
- Follow specimen handling, quality, and safety procedures
- Provide professional and compassionate patient care in a behavioral health environment
- Maintain compliance with all laboratory and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of phlebotomy experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
Additional Information
- Location: Matthews, NC
- Job Type: 13-week contract
- Pay Range: $17 - $19 hourly
- Shifts: Mon - Fri, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
