Phlebotomist - Full-Time

About the role

Performs venipunctures and patient specimen collections with moderate supervision, ensuring thorough knowledge of testing and collection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood and other specimens accurately and efficiently
• Maintains proper testing and collection procedures
• Supports laboratory operations by adhering to safety and quality standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an acceptable phlebotomy training program
• Phlebotomy certification required upon hire; alternative licenses accepted (Laboratory Assistant, Point of Care analyst, LPN, EMT, Paramedic)
• Basic computer skills required
• Previous experience as a Lab Assistant, phlebotomist, ER technician, LPN, or paramedic with phlebotomy skills is preferred
