Phlebotomist Float with Testing

Role: Float Phlebotomist responsible for specimen collection, testing preparation, data entry, and providing exceptional patient service. Key Responsibilities Perform blood draws using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.Collect specimens for various tests, including drug screens, paternity, and alcohol testing.Perform moderately complex testing as defined by CLIA standards.Accurately enter patient information and process billing details.Prepare specimens for testing and maintain specimen logs.Travel to multiple sites as needed.Provide excellent customer service and handle administrative duties. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent; phlebotomy certification or training from an accredited agency preferred.1+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred; current experience with the organization is a plus.Ability to pass a color blindness test, reliable transportation, and a valid driver’s license.Strong communication skills, customer service orientation, and ability to work independently or in teams.Flexibility for overtime and minimal supervision work environment.
