Phlebotomist Float - NE Ohio

Location: Float within NE Ohio

Days: Monday - Friday with Saturday as needed
Hours: 1st Shift, Full-time (40 scheduled weekly hours), Benefit Eligible

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages
• Collect and prepare non-blood specimens
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all applicable privacy and security standards regarding Protected Health Information (PHI)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills

Qualifications

Bonus points if you have:

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
