Phlebotomist - Casual

About the role

The Phlebotomist position is available at Avita Health System’s Bucyrus, Galion, and Ontario locations. This role is under the supervision of the Laboratory Manager or designee.

Responsibilities

• Maintain laboratory equipment as necessary
• Assist in clerical duties of the department
• Assist technicians and technologists as needed
• Perform phlebotomy procedures and process other specimens

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification
• Adhere to regulatory requirements including State, Federal, and accrediting body regulations
• Preferred: Previous experience as a Phlebotomist
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a Certified Phlebotomy program
• Phlebotomy certification
