Phlebotomist

About the role

We're hiring immediately, and we will train you! Whether you are just starting your career, or have some phlebotomy experience, we're here to help you leverage the extensive phlebotomy training provided, develop your talents, and perform at your best. Your impact as a Mobile Phlebotomist is vital. You will assist Vitalant's donor care team in setting up blood drives at locations within a 200-mile range while creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donors. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, occasional weekends & holidays
• 5 to 12 overnight stays per month (all expenses: hotel room and food paid by the company)
• On call once a week
• Start date: 9/14/2026

Training

• 10-week paid mandatory training program - 100% attendance required
• Includes 8 weeks in Cheyenne, WY
• Monday - Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm; classroom training followed by field training on mobiles

Pay

• Base pay: $17.09 - $18.27 / hour
• 5% mobile premium

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, keeping them comfortable and informed
• Perform blood draws (paid training provided)
• Manage accurate and organized donor information
• Receive coaching, encouragement, and support from caring managers who are invested in your career and success

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED - Required
• Active driver's license with a clean driving record - Required
• Ability to travel as required
• Able to lift 40 pounds - Required
