Phlebotomist

About the role

As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will assist Vitalant's donor care team in setting up blood drives at locations within a 200-mile range while creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donors. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, keeping them comfortable and informed.
• Perform blood draws (paid training provided).
• Manage accurate and organized donor information.
• Receive coaching, encouragement, and support from caring managers who are invested in your career and success.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Active driver's license with a clean driving record (Required).
• Ability to travel as required.
• Able to lift 40 pounds (Required).

Schedule

Monday - Friday with varied hours, occasional weekends. Includes 8-12 overnight stays per month (all expenses: hotel room and food paid by the company).

Pay

Flat rate: $20/hour.

Training

10-week paid mandatory training program – 100% attendance required. Monday through Friday 7am-5:30pm for classroom training, followed by field training on the mobiles.
