Phlebotomist

About the role

We're hiring immediately, and we will train you! Whether you are just starting your career, or have some phlebotomy experience, we're here to help you leverage the extensive phlebotomy training provided, develop your talents, and perform at your best. Your impact as a Mobile Phlebotomist is vital. You will assist Vitalant's donor care team in setting up blood drives at locations within a 200-mile range while creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donors. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.

Responsibilities

• Assist Vitalant's donor care team in setting up blood drives within a 200-mile range
• Create comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for donors
• Greet donors, keeping them comfortable and informed
• Perform blood draws (paid training provided)
• Manage accurate and organized donor information

Training

10-week Paid Mandatory Training program – 100% attendance required. Includes 8 weeks in Fargo, ND (all expenses: hotel room and food paid by the company). Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 5:30 pm for classroom training, followed by field training on the mobiles.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Active driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to travel as required
• Able to lift 40 pounds

Pay

Base pay: $20/hour. Salary is commensurate with a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, no weekends
• Occasionally 2–3 overnights per month
• All expenses (hotel room and food) paid by the company
