Phlebotomist

About the role

As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will assist Vitalant’s donor care team in creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donor volunteers. Most days you’ll conduct a blood drive around town in one of our buses; other days you’ll interact with donors at one of our local donation centers. Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, keeping them comfortable and informed.
• Perform blood draws (paid training provided).
• Manage accurate and organized donor information.
• Receive coaching, encouragement, and support from caring managers who are invested in your career and success.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Active driver's license with a clean driving record (Required).
• Ability to travel as required.
• Able to lift 40 pounds (Required).

Schedule

Schedule varies, with regular start times between 5:30 am to 11:00 am and end times up until 9:00 pm. Includes 2–4 overnight stays per month (hotel, transportation provided, and meals reimbursed). Start date: September 14, 2026.

Pay

Base pay: $18.27 – $19.06 per hour.
