About the role

As a Phlebotomist with TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, you can be part of an organization devoted to giving back to the community. This position entails potential exposure to hazardous medications as defined by TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center’s Hazardous Drug Policy, and all facility-endorsed risk mitigation strategies for handling hazardous medications must be followed appropriately.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
  • Participates in patient specimen collection responsibilities.
  • Performs computer processing of patient specimens before and after collection.
  • Processes and distributes patient reports.
  • Demonstrates understanding and adherence to StoneCrest Code of Conduct.
  • Performs any duties necessary to the efficient and quality operation of the department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. (preferred).
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Phlebotomy training and experience (preferred).
