About the role
TriHealth Bethesda Medical Center at Arrow Springs is seeking a passionate Phlebotomist to join our team. This role connects patients with care teams, ensuring high-quality specimen collection while supporting a safe, respectful, and patient-centered experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison for an extensive variety of laboratory customers.
- Procure quality specimens from adult, geriatric, pediatric, and infant patients for diagnostic testing according to CLIA, TJC, and CAP guidelines.
- Perform EKGs on outpatients.
- Take on complex tasks and take initiative to take on tasks when needed.
- Complete work following processes and protocols for safety, confidentiality, and sample integrity.
- Ensure specimen integrity by obtaining patient identification, accurate data, collection, and specimen collection.
- Document all information as required in expected timeframes.
- Understand the importance of accuracy in all steps of the collection process and complete all work accurately and timely.

Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED is Required.
- 1 - 2 years' Experience in Phlebotomy is Preferred.
- Phlebotomy Trained and Certification is Preferred.
