About the role

TriHealth Bethesda Medical Center at Arrow Springs is seeking a passionate Phlebotomist to join our team. This role connects patients with care teams, ensuring high-quality specimen collection while supporting a safe, respectful, and patient-centered experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison for an extensive variety of laboratory customers.
  • Procure quality specimens from adult, geriatric, pediatric, and infant patients for diagnostic testing according to CLIA, TJC, and CAP guidelines.
  • Perform EKGs on outpatients.
  • Take on complex tasks and take initiative to take on tasks when needed.
  • Complete work following processes and protocols for safety, confidentiality, and sample integrity.
  • Ensure specimen integrity by obtaining patient identification, accurate data, collection, and specimen collection.
  • Document all information as required in expected timeframes.
  • Understand the importance of accuracy in all steps of the collection process and complete all work accurately and timely.
  • Complete work following processes and protocols for safety, confidentiality, and sample integrity.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED is Required.
  • 1 - 2 years' Experience in Phlebotomy is Preferred.
  • Phlebotomy Trained and Certification is Preferred.
