What you will do

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing (optional).
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians (optional).

Bonus points

• If you have 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing.
• If you have certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians.

What you need

• Routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI).
• Training on reasonable safeguards.
• To maintain strict confidentiality.
• To abide by all applicable privacy and security standards.
• To access PHI only when it is required to fulfill job duties.

Schedule

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 24
Work Shift: Thursday and Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Saturday 7:30 am-2:00 pm
Part-time: Partial Benefits Eligible
