Phlebotomist

What You’ll Do

• Collection of blood and urine samples
• Understand proper guidelines of cleanliness, safety, and disposal requirements.
• Participates in any/all required education and competencies
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
• Follows HIPAA compliance.
• Demonstrates strong skills, techniques, responds to verbal orders, and uses judgement appropriately.
• Knowable of handling and protocols for supplies, testing, and handling of specimens.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification and/or Lab Assistant preferred
• No experience required

Job Demands

• Strong Communication Skills
• Frequent Standing and Walking
• Maintain accurate and concise documentation
• Time Management is a necessity
• Ability to lift over 50lbs
