About the Role

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is the face of our company to patients, providing essential services in both routine health visits and life-defining health decisions. This role involves drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and ensuring a trustworthy and professional environment for patients.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and perform venipuncture in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
• Verify patient demographic information, initials, and signatures post-venipuncture to ensure accurate labeling.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties.
• Work independently with minimal on-site supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
• Travel and work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime, to cover multiple locations with minimal notice.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic training preferred).
• Excellent phlebotomy skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions based on established procedures.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record (if applicable).
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment highly preferred.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
