About the Role

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is the face of our company to patients, providing a trusting and confident atmosphere while performing blood draws and specimen preparation for lab testing. This role requires direct patient interaction, adherence to established procedures, and a commitment to confidentiality and accuracy in patient information.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Prepare specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures.
• Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient signatures post-venipuncture to ensure accurate labeling.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
• Work independently with minimal on-site supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel and cover multiple locations with minimal notice, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
• 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a high-volume setting.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment highly preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Schedule

7:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday, MST
