Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture on patients with precision and care.
- Collect urine samples according to established protocols.
- Conduct drug screens accurately.
- Efficiently enter patient information into our computer system.
- Ensure the safe and proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills in all patient interactions.
- Perform various administrative and clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, and copying.
- Adhere to all patient and staff safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- A High School diploma or equivalency.
- Graduation from an accredited Phlebotomy program.
- Previous experience with electronic health records (preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory, medical office, or hospital setting (preferred).
- Comfort working in a high-energy, high-volume environment.
- Strong venipuncture skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A commitment to safety and accuracy.
Qualifications
