Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture on patients with precision and care.
• Collect urine samples according to established protocols.
• Conduct drug screens accurately.
• Efficiently enter patient information into our computer system.
• Ensure the safe and proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills in all patient interactions.
• Perform various administrative and clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, and copying.
• Adhere to all patient and staff safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or equivalency.
• Graduation from an accredited Phlebotomy program.
• Previous experience with electronic health records (preferred).
• 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory, medical office, or hospital setting (preferred).
• Comfort working in a high-energy, high-volume environment.
• Strong venipuncture skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A commitment to safety and accuracy.

Qualifications
