About the role
The phlebotomist position will include drawing blood and collecting other specimens from residents/patients for medical testing for diagnosis and treatment purposes.

Requirements

Qualifications
- Must currently be licensed as a Registered Nurse or License Practical Nurse by the State Board of Nurse Examiners in the State where the Facility operates OR High school diploma or equivalent (required); with completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program (required).
- Certification (state specific licenses, CPT, RPT, etc)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures.
- Nursing, medical practices and procedures.
- Knowledgeable of State and Federal Regulations for Long Term Care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle residents/patients of all ages.
