Job Summary Marram Health Center of Gary is seeking a FULL-TIME Phlebotomist to join our team! As a Phlebotomist at Marram Health Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care by collecting blood samples and processing laboratory test requests. Job Responsibilities Draw blood samples and collect other specimens from patients, following established laboratory procedures for specimen collection, handling, and processingProcess laboratory test-related information (Electronic or paper) in the EPIC Medical Record System, as outlined in the policyUtilize hand Held System as expectedAdhere to National Patient Safety Goals, HIPAA Guidelines, and AIDET ExpectationsProcess laboratory test requests in the order of priority and respond to STAT and Time Request tests as promptly as possibleInteract effectively with physicians, patients, and other support servicesOrganize and manage samples at all locationsPerform in-office testing, such as blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, and urine drug screens, as directed by physiciansMaintain clinical records and logs for clinical areasResponsible for ordering, maintaining, and inventory of laboratory supplies for clinical areasFiles charts, lab reports, patient forms, and information in the medical recordsAttends and participates in in-service educationPerforms other duties as assigned Education And Experience High School diploma requiredGraduate of an accredited program for Phlebotomy Technicians requiredPBT (ASCP) or equivalent within two years of hireAt least two years' experience as a Phlebotomy Technician is requiredPrevious experience working with patients in a healthcare or FQHC setting is preferred Benefits 401k w/ 20% match11 paid holidaysMedical, Dental, Vision insuranceCompetitive wagesGenerous PTOEmployee discounts (YMCA)Employee referral programHSA/FSA accountsMonthly student loan repayment up to $200Tuition assistance up to $5,250Company-paid life insuranceCasual FridaysEmployee Assistance ProgramCompany recognition eventsFree health screenings yearly How To Apply If you are a motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about providing excellent patient care, please submit your application to join our team!
