Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Performs specimen collection techniques including venipuncture, capillary draws, urine collection instructions, and specimen culture collection instructions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals or previous phlebotomy experience.
• Certification from a nationally recognized agency (e.g., NHA CPT, ASCP PBT, AMT RPT, NCCT NCPT, ACA CPT).
• Basic computer skills and strong customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the clinical setting.

Pay

The rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
