Responsibilities
- Venipuncture
- Capillary draws
- Urine collection instructions
- Specimen culture collection instructions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited phlebotomy/medical assistant program with clinicals or previous phlebotomy experience
- Certification from a nationally recognized agency (accepted: NHA CPT, ASCP PBT, AMT RPT, NCCT NCPT, ACA CPT)
- Basic computer skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Preferred: Experience working in the clinical setting
Pay
Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
Schedule
Position is for every weekend; day-shift, PRN.
