Meadowview Regional Medical Center is seeking a Phlebotomist on a PRN basis. Responsibilities

• Collections and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory.
• Lables, processes, and delivers specimens for testing.
• Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
• Aids with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Approved nationally accredited training course in Phlebotomy.
• Preferred: Certification from ASCP or NHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Formal Phlebotomy training preferred.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
