Responsibilities
- Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.
- Collections blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
- Aids in coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- BLS certification.
- Phlebotomy training.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certification from ASCP or NHA preferred.
- Basic Life support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Formal phlebotomy training preferred.
