About the role

Join Labcorp as a Phlebotomist in Burlington, NJ, and be the face of our company. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office. You’ll also have opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic needs
• Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed
• Travel to additional sites when required

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or 3+ months of experience as a phlebotomist
• In lieu of work experience, certification or training must come from an accredited agency
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of phlebotomy experience

Pay

$17.75–$24 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, internal equity, and market data.

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with rotating Saturdays.

Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours per week, casual, intern, or temporary employees are eligible only for the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7-on/7-off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
