About the role

Join Labcorp as a Phlebotomist in Worcester, MA, where you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and represent the company. This role offers opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic needs
• Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3 months or more of experience as a phlebotomist
• In lieu of work experience, certification or training must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or previous LabCorp experience
• 6 months or more of experience as a phlebotomist

Pay

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour. All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Schedule

Friday and Saturday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
