Phlebotomist
Primary Responsibilities
Aid in assessing donor suitability.
Build rapport with donors to ensure their comfort and confidentiality.
Handle and address donor reactions promptly.
Monitor donors and equipment to maintain their health and product quality.
Set up, disconnect, and operate automated plasmapheresis machines.
Dispose of contaminated disposable equipment safely.

Pay
The estimated pay scale for the Phlebotomist role based in Maywood, IL, is $19/hr per hour. Additionally, the position is eligible to participate in up to 4% of the company bonus pool.
Schedule
Work is performed standing for 6 to 8 hours per day, bending and twisting neck and waist for 1-2 hours per day, frequent hand movement, and reaching below shoulder height. Foot movement is frequent, and light lifting of 15lbs. with a maximum lift of 50lbs. is required.
